Spicy Turkey Meatball Pitas

Memorial mean solar day is effectually the corner so I started thinking almost what to make for my friends for the fun holiday. Instead of using traditional meat similar beef or chicken, I decided to use something that is a lilliputian more healthy…Turkey! It is a lean, tasty exchange for summertime foods traditionally prepared with beef or pork such every bit sausages and burgers. Ingredients

Shady Brook Farms Footing Turkey – No growth promoting antibiotics
two Containers Plain Greek Yogurt
Container of Plum Tomatoes
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Caput Bib Lettuce
four Minor Cucumbers (english language or persian)
ii Lemons
2 Shallots
Olive Oil
1 tsp Chili Pepper
one tbsp Greek Spices
1 Minor Mango
Common salt
Pepper

Wooden Spoon
Small-scale Mixing Bowl
Big Mixing Bowl

Always cook turkey to an internal temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit.

First by zesting the lemons, then quarter and deseed the lemons. Skin & mince the 2 shallots to go i/4 shallots. In a bowl, combine the shallots and the juice from half dozen lemon wedges.

Peel and mince the garlic. Mix together the chili pepper, greek spices, and minced garlic. Rut on medium-loftier oestrus for one to 2 minutes until fragrant. While the meatballs are cooking, toast the pita bread in the oven on 450 degrees F putting them direct on the over rack for about 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut in half after they are cooked. Line each pita pocket with a piece of bib lettuce. Identify meatballs on top, then the Mango Tzatziki on top. Serve with a salad and actress Mango Tzatziki.
